After making a fortune thanks to the porn contents we all contributred to, tumblr has decided to ban any sexual content.
I hope that the economic value of tumblr will collapse as soon as possible and that we will all run away from its hypocrisy. We should all seek asylum somewhere else away from such hypocrits and puritans (actually the two words are redundant).
At this moment they’re not and NSFW blogs are getting taken down one by one. Read: At one point your blog will be taken down.
Some of my dear followers already have witnessed their blogs been taken down. They have to rebuild after losing everything. Friendships, good connections, etc.
I believe the NSFW tags should remain active for many reasons, but most of all for us to warn people in the wrong to stay off our blogs who have no means at all of visiting our NSFW blogs.
We have every right to have our NSFW blogs.
Reblog if you agree. NSFW tags should remain active!
Please, if you run an adult blog with NSFW material- reblog this. More than once. Reach your mutuals so that they know to reblog it.
I know that I have invested serious time cultivating my blog, and the friendships & connections created in doing so. It would be a serious issue for me if I got deactivated, but I would rebuild. And my content would be as it is now.
Or- Tumblr could do Tumblr Lite for those that do not want to see Adult subject matter and Tumblr Dark for those that do.

I know I don’t have nearly enough followers for my blog to get deleted or for a large number of people to see this but this is for all of the amazing and informative nsfw blogs on here. I love you guys🧸
Everyone reblog this
Please all my pervs reblog this !! Together we stand 💯
To all my followers, nearly 11,000 of you, please please PLEASE reblog this. We have spent so much time creating our blog that I know you all love. I am devastated at the thought of losing all of our hard work and having to start over. I’m not sure any of this will actually help but it’s worth a try! A simple reblog is all it takes.
But also, you can follow me on Twitter @bust_it_bunny so I can build a following there just in case my page gets shut down.
I don’t need to re-explain the anger and frustration going through the Tumblr community over the impending adult-content ban. Soon enough, this NSFW blog will empty out like all the rest. But before that happens, I would like to share some thoughts on where to point our frustrations.
Right now, much of the criticism by targeted blogs has been against Tumblr. But this is missing the mark. Our community anger should be placed squarely on Verizon, Tumblr’s new corporate parent.
In terms of Verizon’s entire media portfolio, Tumblr is just a blip on the radar, especially in terms of ad revenue. But you know what is important? Verizon’s reputation and branding. The more we refocus on slamming Verizon, not just here but on Twitter, Instagram, Google Reviews, and more, then more they’ll sweat their decision.
I don’t know how much difference it will make in the long run, but to really get our voice heard among corporate giants we’re better off aiming for the top.
Reblog!!!!
Tumblr, Yahoo et al censors:
WE ARE NOT AMUSED! Increased censorship is not even Trump, and has never solved anything!
When even the mainstream media sees that @staff is okay with nazis while getting offended at the female nipple.
shit when legit newspapers are throwing shade @staff
I’m not generally a fan of the “Well, they allow nazis!” comparison, but I do find it interesting that the largely left-wing internet cabal (Apple, Google, Facebook, etc) are working so hard to eliminate nudity on the internet. I’m old enough to remember the ‘60s and ‘70s, when liberals worked so very hard to open the doors to free expression.
When did freedom of expression suddenly become an online crime? When did an attack on a specific subset of any group ever work to the benefit of any institution?
In this bloggers humble opinion, Tumblr’s December 17th forced genocide of Adult Content blogs is just another example of how our society is slipping backwards in its level of tolerance towards anything that is different, preferring to have this type of content hidden away, and marked with a scarlet letter of intolerance and shame.
Are there issues revolving around certain types of blogs Yes. Child pornography and other unacceptably content is abhorrent to all. Is Tumblr going after those specific types of blogs? No. Are they setting up a system that blocks minors from accessing adult content blogs? No. They are preferring to follow a simplistic “nuke it all” approach rather than address the overall problem. Taking a M.A.D (mutually assured destruction) approach, can only end in one way, for without adult content, Tumblr will die off.
So my friends and followers(93k amazing individuals), I challenge you to reblog this note, and challenge Tumblr’s decision. Perhaps, if enough of us stand up and protest some good will come of it. Resist, and fight the good, and honourable, fight.
